2014<\/p>\n<p>Rita Maria Martinez joined eight other poets from Miami, Tampa, and El Salvador \u2014\u00a0Elisa Albo,\u00a0Adrian Castro, Silvia Curbelo, Mia Leonin, Rita\u00a0Maria Martinez, Caridad Moro-McCormick, Alexandra Lytton Regalado, and Emma Trelles<\/p>\n<p>They convened\u00a0at Florida International University\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/thefrost.fiu.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\">Frost Art Museum<\/a> to respond to the exhibit\u2019s diverse\u00a0collection of\u00a0works.<\/p>\n<p>Under the guidance of Francisco Arag\u00f3nand Emma Trelles<\/p>\n<p>A collaborative effort between the <a href=\"http:\/\/americanart.si.edu\/exhibitions\/archive\/2013\/our_america\/\">Smithsonia Institution<\/a> and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/latinostudies.nd.edu\/institute-centers\/letras-latinas\/\" target=\"_blank\">Letras Latinas<\/a>, the literary initiative of the <a href=\"http:\/\/latinostudies.nd.edu\/about\/\" target=\"_blank\">Institute for Latino Studies<\/a> at the University\u00a0of
